All that glitters might not be Gold this time

Galileo Gold 3.10 Goodwood

SP forecast 7-4

Admirably consistent colt who proved April’s 2,000 Guineas win was no fluke when landing the St James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot last month. That is the best form on offer and his style of racing should be suited to this track. However, while he looks a less-complicated ride than main market rivals The Gurkha and Awtaad, he will be lucky if this contest is run as perfectly for him as that Ascot race.

Conclusion Rather fell into his lap last time. Lay.

Livella Fella 3.30 Redcar

SP forecast 2-1

Holding her form well and made it two wins for the season when making all at Musselburgh 19 days ago. Obvious chance off only 2lb higher with fast ground in her favour and in against a mainly out-of-form older bunch of rivals. That said, she was allowed to set a steady pace last time at a track that hugely favours front-runners and unlikely to be allowed as much rope in this bigger field.

Conclusion Likely to find this tougher. Lay.
