This four-year-old was lightly raced over hurdles after winning a Weatherby maiden and looked an exciting prospect on his debut over fences last month, bolting up in a Towcester novice chase by eight lengths.

The most impressive part of Pinkie Brown's display was his jumping as he put in an impeccable round with the exception of a blunder three out and had his rivals beaten a long way out. His jumping could prove a big asset at today's track, which often proves a stiff test with a line of five fences in the back straight.
