The Punt Acca: Laurence Morter's three horse racing tips at Brighton and Newbury on Tuesday

Kinswoman (3.30 Brighton)

Has progressed on each of her four starts. A fourth place on debut was followed up by back-to-back thirds, each time running prominently, showing that there was some promise there. She was unable to close out the race each time but the signs are that it is only a matter of time before she gets home first. Her handicap debut last time was a respectable effort and with a bit more experience she is one to take seriously back in maiden company.

Sea Of Charm (4.30 Brighton)

Has shown some reasonable form this season, which includes a course win last month, but has since had a bit of a drop off. She followed her win at Brighton with a third at the same track and then a distant fourth last time out on the all-weather at Wolverhampton, both times weakening in the closing stages. She is dropping back in trip now which is a slight concern, but she has won races over 1m2f before and having not seen the race out on her last two outings, the drop back to ten furlongs might be exactly what she needs. 

Follow Your Heart (8.15 Newbury)

Had not shown much in the way of form in recent months before taking advantage of a low mark last time out to record a first turf win since July 2021. He ran a lot more prominently than usual on that occasion and even though he hung left in the closing stages, he stayed on well to win impressively He will have to defy a 4lb penalty but that seems manageable and the nine-day turnaround suggests connections feel he is bang in form. The booking of William Buick is another positive and he should go well again.
