8-1 Hassle looks another Market Rasen gem for Newland

Richard Newland has gone a long way in a quick space of time since starting training, having already won a Grand National with Pineau De Re.

He also targets these valuable summer handicaps with some of his better horses and he looks to have two good chances at Market Rasen this afternoon.

Hassle is the one I like most in the Betfred TV Summer Handicap Hurdle (2.15). A 100-rated stayer on the Flat, Hassle was disappointing over two and half miles on soft ground at Royal Ascot two starts ago, but he bounced right back to form under today’s 10lb claimer at Uttoxeter last time when he won a competitive novice hurdle in good style.
