£36 to £650,000? Try this cheap route to Saturday's Scoop6

Racing at Wolverhampton

As just 54 runners have been declared in the Scoop6 races it's worth having a go at this week's £250,000 pool (with £400,000 bonus fund).

With a £2 unit stake, how heavy or light you go can only be a matter of personal choice. It is suggested the more expensive legs should be the Lincoln Trial (1.35) and the 2.30 at Ayr.

Kasbaan should be considered from those slightly further down the market in the former. In Ayr's toughest leg, Off The Hook is the most solid option but probably needs to be supplemented by a couple in an open-looking race.

The other two legs at Ayr are banker options for those looking to get through cheaply. Drumconnor Lad stands out in the 1.55 if he is fit, while The Con Man has been cutting it in better company than the 3.05.

It may not be known until nearer the off how much we need fear The Dutchman in the latter.

The cheapest ways through the other two legs at Wolverhampton probably include Treacherous in the 2.05, who ought to be seen to better effect in a more competitive race, and the classy Cardsharp in the 2.45.

Selections:

1.35 Wolverhampton 1, 4, 6
1.55 Ayr 1
2.10 Wolverhampton 3, 7
2.30 Ayr 2, 3
2.45 Wolverhampton 2, 10
3.05 Ayr 2
