10-1 Red Admirable can continue McPherson's great run

Graeme McPherson has a 60% strike rate with his jumpers this month and looks to have a couple of good chances of adding to that impressive tally this afternoon.

The obvious one is Generous Chief at Newton Abbot but back on a decent surface and having dropped markedly in the weights, Red Admirable looks worth chancing in the EPDS Racing Partnerships Supporting Racing Welfare Handicap Chase (2.30) at Ludlow.

His form figures are far from inspiring but that was all on soft ground and with his yard in such hot form, I'm expecting a vastly improved show.
