Yorton to offer 37 National Hunt prospects at Goffs event on September 12
Stallions such as Blue Bresil, Gentlewave and Pether's Moon are represented
Eight sons and daughters of leading National Hunt stallion Blue Bresil are included in the 37 lots catalogued for the inaugural Yorton Sale on September 12.
Goffs are overseeing the event, to be staged at David Futter’s operation near Shrewsbury and offering its selected yearling and two-year-old jump prospects.
The families of breeders James and Jean Potter feature regularly and among the Blue Bresils are a yearling gelding (35) and a two-year-old (9) out of Tara Potter, a relative of the great Denman. He also has a yearling colt (32) out of winning mare Fiddling Again, a daughter of Nicky Henderson’s smart chaser Fiddling The Facts.

Henderson also has a connection with a Blue Bresil colt out of Chocca Wocca, whom he trained for Richard Kelvin Hughes along with her more celebrated dam Chomba Womba.
There are multiple representatives from other stallions to have resided at Yorton such as Pether’s Moon and Gentlewave, the latter providing a gelding out of a half-sister to Betfair Hurdle winner Violet Dancer (12).
The likes of Clovis Du Berlais, Fame And Glory, No Risk At All and Great Pretender also feature in the catalogue.
