Watch Kameko, Zoustar and co in Tweenhills' virtual stallion parade
David Redvers and Francesca Cumani talk us through the roster
With lockdown restrictions preventing breeders from making their annual stud visits, David Redvers and the Tweenhills team have decided to bring the Qatar Racing sires to breeders courtesy of a virtual stallion parade.
Hosted by Francesca Cumani, Redvers and his Tweenhills colleagues talk us through the four-strong stallion roster, including up-and-comers Lightning Spear and Havana Gold, who are set to stand the 2021 season at fees of £5,000 and £7,500 respectively.
Redvers also shows off a number of foals by the shuttle sensation Zoustar, whose first northern hemisphere-bred youngsters will hit the market at the upcoming Tattersalls December Foal Sale, and discusses the strong support he has received at Tweenhills.
The son of Northern Meteor, who will stand at £25,000, was crowned champion first- and second-season sire in his native Australia.
The star of the show is arguably Tweenhills' newest resident Kameko, winner of the 2,000 Guineas and the Vertem Futurity Stakes. Redvers fills us in on how the son of Kitten's Joy has settled into his new home.
The record-breaking Classic winner, who now resides in the same stable as the much-missed Roaring Lion, will stand his debut season at stud at £25,000.
