A two-year-old Maxios half-sister to Listed winner Simba topped Friday's BBAG Spring Sale in Baden-Baden.

The auction is one of the last stops on the breeze-up circuit, as well as selling a variety of other stock.

The sale-topper, consigned by Philip Prevost Baratte, hailed from the breeze-up section and was knocked down to Blandford Bloodstock for €55,000.

Next best was a two-year-old Camelot colt out of Commendable, an unraced daughter of Pivotal and champion sprinter Danehurst from Huggan Bloodstock.

He was sold to RB Agency for Adelresort for €49,000.

A two-year-old Adlerflug filly already named Burning Rose from Stall Moorbock made €43,000 to Andreas Lowe.
