Thirty four wildcards added to catalogue for Ascot March Sale

Among them are a number of winning pointers

An additional 34 wildcard entries have been catalogued for the Tattersalls Ireland Ascot March Sale which takes place on Thursday.

Among the wildcard entries are Delface (Lot 80), a four-year-old son of Della Francesca who was successful on his third start in a maiden hurdle at Wexford on Friday.

Offered by Liz Doyle's Saunderscourt Stables, he is out of a daughter of Prix de l'Opera heroine Secret Form, who was second in the French 1,000 Guineas, the French Oaks and the Prix Saint-Alary. 

Cockle Bay (138), a five-year-old Milan gelding, was successful on his fifth start in a point-to-point at The Pigeons on Sunday and is offered by Colin Bowe's Milestone Stables, while He Is Rosy (139), a five-year-old Helissio gelding, won a point at Dromahane on the same day and is also set to go under the hammer. 

The sale begins at 10.30am.
