Tattersalls Cheltenham events moved away from Gloucestershire during 2020
Three National Hunt sales will take place between Newmarket and Fairyhouse
Tattersalls Cheltenham has restructured its remaining sales fixtures as it will be unable to host them at Prestbury Park owing to the ongoing challenges caused by Covid-19.
While the reintroduced Tattersalls Cheltenham October Sale, scheduled on Friday October 23, will no longer take place, new homes have been found for three other events.
The November Sale will remain in its traditional week and now take place on Thursday November 12 at Tattersalls Ireland's Fairyhouse venue as part of the November National Hunt Sale.
Those vendors wishing to sell in the UK will be able to do so at Park Paddocks headquarters on December 3, in a stand-alone Tattersalls Cheltenham December Sale following the conclusion of the December Mares and Horses In Training Sale.
With a greater number of point to point fixtures scheduled at the end of the year, a Tattersalls Cheltenham December Sale will take place on December 17 as a stand-alone fixture at Tattersalls Ireland, Fairyhouse.
Matthew Prior, head of Tattersalls Cheltenham, said: "Whilst we naturally look forward to returning to Cheltenham Racecourse as soon as restrictions allow, this solution offers vendors and purchasers the best available opportunities to trade in Ireland and the UK in what are difficult circumstances.
"The Tattersalls group has demonstrated its commitment to the point to point sector by sponsoring all meetings in Ireland and all four and five-year-old maidens in the UK this autumn and we look forward to providing the same vibrant market place for our long standing clients.
"We will continue to monitor and react to any changes to government guidelines and do what is best by our clients as this pandemic evolves."
