Wooded introduced at €15,000 as Haras de Bouquetot announce 2021 fees
First-season sire Shalaa, Olympic Glory and Toronado among the stallions
Al Shaqab has introduced Haras de Bouquetot's newest recruit Wooded at a fee of €15,000, the joint-highest on the eight-strong roster alongside Shalaa.
The son of Wootton Bassett signed off his career with a narrow win in the Prix de l'Abbaye at Longchamp in October, having earlier on struck in Group 3 company in May. Out of the Elusive City mare Frida La Blonde, the €90,000 Arqana purchase is a full-brother to the smart Beat Le Bon.
First-season Shalaa is responsible for 18 winners to date, headed by Group 3 Breeders' Plate winner Shaquero in Australia and the stakes-placed Saeiqa, Legal Attack and No Speak Alexander, and will also stand for €15,000, reduced from €25,000 this year.
Olympic Glory was again finely represented by Group 1 winner Watch Me - who struck in the Prix Rothschild over the summer - and the promising Solario Stakes winner Etonian. He will stand for €5,000 (from €10,000 this year).
Toronado has also enjoyed a good year on the track courtesy of the Queen's July and Windsor Castle Stakes scorer Tactical. The son of High Chaparral will command an unchanged fee of €8,000, having also sired five individual Listed winners to date.
Former Coolmore stallion and Derby winner Ruler Of The World stands for €5,000, while Al Wukair, Ectot and Zelzal - all of whom saw their first yearlings sell this year - stand at €6,000, €4,000 and €6,000 respectively.
