Leading National Hunt sire No Risk At All, responsible for this year's rampant Ryanair Chase winner Allaho and 2020 Champion Hurdle heroine Epatante, heads the five-strong 2022 roster for Haras de Montaigu.

The 14-year-old son of My Risk, who has also produced Grade 1-winning novice chaser Esprit Du Large and the useful Gumball, will stand for a fee of €12,000, up from €10,000 this year.

Beaumec De Houelle, the first Grade 1-winning son of Martaline to retire to stud in 2020, will stand for an unchanged fee of €6,000.

The winner of the Grade 1 Prix Cambacérès at Auteuil and five of his six outings as a three-year-old for Arnaud Chaillé-Chaillé, Beaumec De Houelle's first crop of foals caught the eye when taking the first two places in the National de l'Obstacle and first in the AQPS Show in Le Lion d’Angers.

Jimmy Two Times initially stood his first two seasons at Gestut Hofgut Heymann in Germany before returning to Haras de Montaigu last season. The son of Kendargent won the Prix du Muguet, Edmond Blanc and Porte Maillot, as well as finishing third in the Prix Maurice de Gheest.

He will stand for a fee of €3,500 and will be represented by his first juveniles next year.

Technician: top-class staying son of Mastercraftsman joins the team

The two newcomers to Haras de Montaigu are Group 1 winners Dschingis Secret and Technician.

Dschingis Secret, a top-class son of the great Soldier Hollow, previously stood at Haras de Saint Arnoult, and is another who will welcome his first two-year-old crop in 2022.

A six-time Group winner, the eight-year-old will stand for €4,000.

The quintet is completed by Technician, a son of the late Mastercraftsman whose finest hour came when landing the Prix Royal-Oak at Longchamp for Martyn Meade and Team Valor.

Technician, who also won the Prix Chaudenay and Geoffrey Freer Stakes during his racing career, has been introduced at €3,000. He will be on show at Clairefontaine racecourse during the Arqana November Sale.
