Solita is by King's Theatre - also the damsire of Wholestone

Solita jumps the last en route to winning a Grade B handicap chase at Fairyhouse
1 of 1

High-class chaser Solita and a brother to Grade 2-winning hurdler Sutton Place are just two tempting lots on offer as Tattersalls Ireland hosts its opening sale of 2018. The one-day February Sale begins at 10.30am on Tuesday.

Among the 291 catalogued lots are older horses, two-year-olds, 256 National Hunt weanlings and 13 broodmares and broodmare prospects.

Among the four supplementary entries is the nine-year-old mare Solita, winner of a Grade B handicap chase across the road at Fairyhouse and a mare by King's Theatre, whose daughters have also produced the likes of Relkeel Hurdle scorer Wholestone, On The Go Again, Swamp Fox and Potters Point.

The seven-time winner is offered by Toberona House Stables.

The Beeches Stud, meanwhile, offers a yearling brother to Sutton Place by Mahler.

Sutton Place is currently priced up at 7-2 for the Grade 1 Flogas Novice Chase on Sunday and is chalked up at single-figure odds for the feature novices' chases at Cheltenham in March.

Also of note is the yearling Presenting half-brother to Dovecote Novices' Hurdle winner Winter Escape, offered by Ballincurrig House Stud.

The pair are out of Saddleruppat - a winning, closely related sister to Grade 1-winning hurdler Black Jack Ketchum.
