Sioux Nation's brother to make his debut at Cork on Friday

Sioux Nation: by the late Scat Daddy

Cork's first race looks a hot contest and among those making their debut is the Aidan O'Brien-trained Isle Of Innisfree, who is a brother to last year's Group 1 Phoenix Stakes hero Sioux Nation.

The colt is a member of the highly-scrutinised final crop of the late Scat Daddy, a group of juveniles who have been highly sought after during recent breeze-up sales.

Isle Of Innisfree is out of the winning Oasis Dream mare Dream The Blues, herself a daughter of the Group 3-winning Bluebird mare Catch The Blues. This also the family of the Group 3 winner My Catch and Listed scorer Vladimir.

O'Brien saddles another interesting contender in the shape of the War Front colt National Guard, the first foal out of the Montjeu mare Coin Broker.

The seven-year-old mare was trained by David O'Meara for the Coolmore partners, with her best effort coming when second in a Beverley maiden at three.

She boasts a classy pedigree being out of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies winner Cash Run and a half-sister to the Listed scorer Great War Eagle.

Cash Run is out of the Grade 1-winning Shared Interest and is a half-sister to Grade 1 hero Forestry - who later developed into a top-class sire at Taylor Made Farm in Kentucky.
