Whitsbury Manor Stud resident Showcasing will no longer shuttle to the southern hemisphere, following an announcement by the stud and Haunui Farm in New Zealand.

An offer by Whitsbury Manor to purchase the 50 per cent shareholding owned by the New Zealand-based shareholders of Showcasing was accepted on the proviso that he would no longer shuttle.

Showcasing has been represented by six stakes winners in the southern hemisphere this season including exciting three-year-olds Be Bee and So Far Sokool and two-year-old Group winners Xpression and Bit Lippy.

Showcasing is standing his second season at a career-high fee of £35,000 at Whitsbury Manor, and stood at Haunui Farm last season at a price of NZ$12,000 (£6,200/€7,100).

He will be represented by three further racing crops in the southern hemisphere.
