Yeomanstown Stud's young stallion Mill Stream sired his first foal in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The individual is out of the Dark Angel mare Silver Rose, who is the dam of the Listed winner Eternal Elixir (by Shaman), and is from the family of Sandown Mile winner Sovereign Debt.

July Cup winner Mill Stream has been well supported in his first season at stud with 170 mares, with Yeomanstown encouraged by the maiden arrival.

The County Kildare operation's stud manager David O’Callaghan said: "Delighted to have Mill Stream’s first foal on the ground. She’s a belter. Big strong bay filly, with good limbs."

Mill Stream will stand for €10,000 for the 2026 season. Trained by Jane Chapple-Hyam for Peter Harris, the Redpender Stud-bred son of Gleneagles cost 350,000gns as a yearling at Tattersalls and is a half-brother to Richmond Stakes winner Asymmetric.
