Exciting young stallion Shalaa will remain at an unchanged fee of €27,500 for the 2018 breeding season after Al Shaqab announced the rates for its nine-strong roster at Haras de Bouquetot on Monday.

The dual Group 1 winner has been well received by breeders since he took up stallion duties this year and covered a first book that included dual Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe heroine Treve, La Cressionniere, Puggy - the dam of Avenir Certain - and Twyla Tharp - the dam of multiple Group 1 scorer The Fugue.

As reported last month, Prix Jacques le Marois hero Al Wukair and Prix Jean Prat scorer Zelzal are among the new recruits to the French operation next year. They have had their fees set at €15,000 and €8,000 respectively.

They are joined by fellow new stallions Brametot and Ectot, who Al Shaqab revealed would stand at €10,000 and €5,000 respectively.

Dual Group 1 scorer Toronado, who stood the past three seasons at the National Stud in Newmarket, will be standing at €12,000 for his first season in France, while Olympic Glory has had his fee clipped from €15,000 to €12,000.

The roster is completed by Planteur and Style Vendome who have been both represented by their first two-year-olds this year. They will both stand at unchanged fees of €4,000 and €5,000 next year.
