Friday's opening session of the third and final day of the Tattersalls July Sale picked up where the previous day left off, with Jassim Al Ghazali securing the top lot, Generalship, for 120,000gns.

"We hope he'll do well in mile races in Qatar," said Ghazali. "His last win caught my eye. We like New Approach as a stallion and he's going the right way physically, he'll get better as he gets older. He'll start in handicaps and hopefully he'll continue to improve."

The three-year-old son of New Approach was offered by John Gosden's Clarehaven Stables, and is the second foal out of the Listed-winning Dubai Destination mare Ahla Wasahl.
