Part II of September Yearling auction expanded to two days

Past graduates include Galileo Gold, Hawksmoor and Conselice

Tattersalls Ireland has extended Part II of its September Yearling Sale due to an increase in demand.

The auction will take place over four days with the first session commencing on Tuesday, September 20 until Wednesday, September 21 and the newly expanded Part II taking place on the following two days on Thursday, September 22 and Friday, September 23.

Three of this season's European Classics have fallen to past graduates with 2,000 Guineas - and St James's Palace Stakes - hero Galileo Gold secured by Amanda Skiffington for €33,000, German 1,000 Guineas heroine Hawksmoor, a €80,000 purchase by Skiffington, and Italian 1,000 Guineas winner Conselice bought by Alduino Botti for €25,000, all from the 2014 renewal.
