O'Connor joins auction house in international client relation role
She will begin her new post at the start of the November Sale
Goffs has announced the appointment of Hayley O'Connor to the new role of international client relations at the company.
O'Connor leaves Ladbrokes, where she held the position of PR and communications manager for eight years. She has already enjoyed success as both an owner and breeder and has an association with Goffs as both a vendor and purchaser.
She has also gained experience in the bloodstock industry with time spent working in Kentucky, Australia and New Zealand.
O'Connor will work closely with Goffs' marketing director Joey Cullen and international director Elaine Lawlor and, as part of a broad remit, will travel to the UK and internationally to promote the Goffs brand to potential and existing clients across the globe.

Goffs group chief executive Henry Beeby said: "Hayley is a superb addition to the enthusiastic Goffs team and will perfectly complement our existing marketing personnel and international agents with whom she will interact closely.
"Her wide experience and admirable skill set will allow her to assist our ongoing drive to promote the Goffs name and unique service to the widest global audience."
O'Connor added: "The Goffs brand has a global reputation for excellence and the highest integrity, and whether you are a familiar face or a fresh one, it is impossible not to feel the excitement of the place when you walk through the doors. I bought my first racehorse at a Goffs sale so can promote the buyer experience with first-hand knowledge.
"Goffs has a wonderful history and is led by a forward-thinking team that seeks to provide the best possible service to its clients, so it is with great enthusiasm that I take on this new role."
O'Connor will take up her new role on November 20 at the start of Goffs' November Sale.
