Hazariya, the dam of this season's Epsom and Curragh Derby hero Harzand, is set to go under the hammer at the Tattersalls December Breeding-Stock Sale, which starts its four-day run on November 28.

Harzand, who was leading contender for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe on Sunday, is the fifth foal out of Hazariya, a 14-year-old daughter of Xaar who won the Group 3 Athasi Stakes herself and has also produced Group 3 winner Harasiya, Listed scorer Hazarafa and Group 3-placed Haziyna at stud.

Hazariya, in foal to Invincible Spirit, will be consigned to Tattersalls by Newsells Park Stud, which bought the mare from Harzand's owner-breeder the Aga Khan for €480,000 at Goffs two years ago.
