The catalogue for the Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up Sale is now available to view online. The two-day auction begins on April 18, while the breezes are to be staged on Newmarket’s Rowley Mile racecourse on April 17 from 9am.

There are 152 two-year-olds catalogued to come under the hammer, including a Frankel colt, the only lot by the sire to be offered at a British breeze-up sale in 2017, and a filly by Japanese sire sensation Deep Impact (Lot 63) out of a three-parts sister to Ruler Of The World and half-sister to Duke Of Marmalade.

Bansha House Stables offers the colt by Frankel (17) out of Laurelei, a winning half-sister to five-time Group/Grade 1 scorer Cape Blanco and dual Grade 2 winner Mr O'Brien.

A range of 44 sires have their progeny catalogued for the 2017 Craven Sale, including Dark Angel, Invincible Spirit, Kodiac and Shamardal.

There is also a strong representation from sires based further afield, such as Siyouni, Kendargent and Le Havre from France and the likes of Kitten’s Joy, Scat Daddy, Super Saver and Uncle Mo from the US.

This year’s freshman sires also have a strong hand, with the likes of Camelot, Farhh, Intello and Society Rock all set to have juveniles come under the hammer. Their US counterparts include Animal Kingdom, Shanghai Bobby and Violence.
