Dubai-bound Destructive sells to Deva Racing for 76,000gns on Tattersalls Online

Michael Bell's winning gelding Destructive topped the Tattersalls Online May Sale on Thursday when selling to Deva Racing Dubai for 76,000gns.
A son of More Than Ready who notched up a hat-trick of wins on the all-weather earlier this year, he had also ran with credit in Dubai last year, including when fourth in the Listed Al Bastakiya that February. He is now set to head back to the UAE and will be trained by Bhupat Seemar.
Deva Racing’s Ryan Tongue said: "We are delighted to have purchased Destructive online today. He came highly recommended and is by prolific dirt sire More Than Ready. He won three of his last four starts and is on a mark of 97, which is perfect for a Dubai campaign.
"He will head to dual champion trainer Bhupat Seemar who does an excellent job with these types. He stays a mile and could be a future Godolphin Mile horse. He is only four and keeps improving. I love that he already has experience in Dubai where he ran very well at three. There will be lots of options for him over there.”
The half-brother to dirt black-type winner Miss Peach is out of the Giant's Causeway mare Carolina Peach, herself a daughter of turf stakes winner and Grade 1-placed Pinch Pie.
Destructive has been through the ring twice before, including when selling to Nick Bell from Tally-Ho Stud for €85,000 at the Arqana Breeze-Up Sale.
Overall, 60 lots sold for turnover of 576,600gns. The next Tattersalls Online Sale takes place from June 4-5, featuring breeze-up lots who will gallop at Dundalk on May 28.
