National Hunt and Flat buyers contributed to a day of strong trade
National Hunt and international Flat buyers competing over a mix of high-class breeding stock and promising horses in training is the perfect recipe for strong trade and that is precisely what the second session of Arqana's Summer Sale, which took place in Deauville on Friday, delivered.
Trade was headed by , with Robert Nataf of Horse France striking the winning bid of €400,000 on behalf of Paul Moroney.
"He's been bought for Australia," said Nataf. "He'll be going to Ballymore Stables to be trained by Michael Moroney. He has all the credentials for a horse running in Australia, he stays a mile and a quarter and goes on good ground.
