And back to Arqana we go. You may recall that my last French shift ended with a mad dash from the Deauville breeze-up to Lisbon for a friend’s stag-do.
Well, by a quirk of fate, the associated wedding coincided with the start of the Summer Sale.
That is to say, this latest venture began with a mad dash from Northumberland to Deauville, via about four hours in my own bed on Monday night. Admittedly that’s more sleep than I managed on the stag-do.
