Annual Gigginstown dispersal the main attraction in Tattersalls Online August Sale

The annual dispersal of racing stock from Michael O'Leary's Gigginstown House Stud is the headline act of the Tattersalls August Online Sale which takes place on August 12 and 13.
Six geldings in training for Gigginstown House Stud have been included in the catalogue for the mixed sale which also includes a breeding right to Overbury Stud's Ardad, sire of last weekend's Group 3 Prix de Cabourg winner Tadej.
The mixed sale of Flat and National Hunt horses in and out of training, broodmares and youngstock numbers 143 lots with many of Britain and Ireland's leading trainers represented.
Of the Gigginstown sextet the main attraction is five-year-old Harsh who was fourth for Gordon Elliott in the Grade 3 Fred Winter Juvenile Handicap Hurdle at last year's Cheltenham Festival.
The son of Dark Angel is out of Listed Flat winner Andry Brusselles and has an official rating of 128 over fences having been placed at Cork and Kilbeggan this year. He was due to run at Wexford on Wednesday evening but was withdrawn.
Peter Flood consigns recent bumper winner Governors Rock and the four-year-old is a son of popular sire Joshua Tree. Successful at Wexford in late July on just his second start he is the third winner from as many runners for his dam, the unraced Beneficial mare Tipping On and cost just €12,000 at last year's Tattersalls Ireland July Store Sale.
Ballynure Park Stud's broodmare draft includes Capla Dream who is offered in foal to leading first season sire Starman. Tally Ho Stud's sire was successful in the July Cup for David Ward and is already the sire of four Group winners.
Capla Dream is a winning daughter of Listed October Stakes second Maid A Million and the seven-year-old Dream Ahead mare has a two-year-old Showcasing filly, a yearling colt by Lucky Vega and produced a colt foal by Teofilo this year.
Details of all lots as well as consignor contact information can be found on the Tattersalls Online website at www.tattersallsonline.com.
Prospective bidders are encouraged to join the sale now ahead of the commencement of bidding at 11am on Tuesday, August 12 with bidding on the first lot scheduled to close from 11am on Wednesday, August 13.
