The catalogue for the Arqana February Mixed Sale, the first sale of the year that brings together a variety of different lots, is now online.

A total of 375 horses in training, broodmares, fillies, two-year-olds and yearlings will be offered to buyers from 10am local time on February 15-16.

In addition, a further five wildcards are set to be added to the horses in training and broodmare sections.

The February Mixed Sale will hold a reduction of breeding interests for two separate entities, including Haras du Mont-dit-Mont, notably the breeder of Listed Prix du Carrousel winner and Prix Vicomtesse Vigier third Get Shirty.

A total of 13 lots will be offered from the stud, including Listed winner Akemi (lot 232), already the dam of a winner and offered in foal to Bated Breath, and Riptide Wave (lot 328), a daughter of Pivotal out of the black-type performer Rock Me Baby, offered in foal to Belardo.

As part of the many measures needed to combat Covid-19 and continuing the the work carried out in close collaboration with the Calvados Prefecture, the February Mixed Sale will be subject to a strict health protocol.

Following on from the protocol in place during the last sales of 2020, access to the establishment will be exclusively reserved for those involved in the sale: consignors and their staff, buyers, veterinarians, transporters and Arqana staff. All those that wish to access the sales establishment must fill in the online form, which will be available shortly.

For those who will not be able to travel to Deauville, it will be possible to bid online or by telephone with a member of the Arqana team.

In response to the Hve4 Rhinopneumonia epidemic, a new protocol has been put in place for all horses that travel to the complex. Each horse will require a negative Nasopharyngeal PCR Swab result that is less than seven days old.

The catalogue and all relevant information and forms can be found here.
