Dundalk winner First Blood raises his profile for Sunday sale
All-weather bonuses are on offer to graduates from the event
First Blood put himself firmly in the spotlight for Sunday's ThoroughBid January All-Weather Sale with a first victory of his career at Dundalk on Friday.
Trainer Joseph O'Brien's Carriganog Racing has a third of the 15 lots entered in this section of the online event, which runs between 6pm and 7pm.
First Blood, a four-year-old Intello gelding, made all the running as 7-2 favourite on his first run over two miles, announcing himself as a horse with dual-purpose credentials.
O'Brien also has seven-time winning mare Royal Dynasty, Holy Roman Emperor filly Adelisa, Talbot and Camelot's daughter Happywifehappylife engaged in an event which offers £30,000 of bonuses to graduates who earn points from the UK and Ireland’s synthetic tracks until April 28.
Brickfield Equine's consignment of three wildcards includes Chris Dwyer's recent Kempton winner Endured while Ralph Beckett's fine handicap stalwart Here And Now is another of the standouts.
This sale is preceded by a 'pop-up' National Hunt sale, consisting of six lots, from 5pm.
