Buyers will have the opportunity to pick up siblings to the likes of Champ, Chris's Dream and Mala Beach as Tattersalls Ireland released its wildcard catalogue for next month's May Store Sale.

Taking place on August 10, the auction was postponed following concerns that overseas visitors would be unable to visit without quarantining until July 19.

Among the eyecatching wildcard entries are Castledillon Stud's Walk In The Park half-brother to RSA Novices' Chase and Challow Novices' Hurdle scorer Champ (Lot 153A), Lough Na Sollis Stud's Soldier Of Fortune half-sister to dual Grade 2-winning chaser Chris's Dream (1A), and the Railstown Stud-consigned Mahler half-brother to Mala Beach, who struck in the Troytown Handicap Chase and two Grade 2 hurdle contests.

Other notable lots on offer come in the form of Grottowell Stables' Ascalon half-brother to Talkischeap (150A), a ten-length winner of Sandown's bet365 Gold Cup, and Nolan Bloodstock's Soldier Of Fortune gelding out of a full-sister to Yorkhill (197A).

Tattersalls Ireland CEO Simon Kerins said of postponing the auction: "The Covid-19 landscape is fluid and constantly changing but it's of the utmost importance to us that there is no barrier for any purchaser coming to the sale, and we feel that can be best achieved by waiting for the changes to come into effect."

All horses catalogued are eligible for the €100,000 Tattersalls Ireland George Mernagh Memorial Sales Bumper.
