A breeding right to the National Stud's in-demand Time Test proved the biggest attraction at a brief online sale by Tattersalls on Wednesday when bought for 115,000gns by Peter and Ross Doyle.

The agreement entitles the purchaser to one northern hemisphere cover per season.

Dubawi's Time Test, a winner at Royal Ascot and of the York Stakes before placing at Grade 1 class for Chad Brown, has fielded 12 individual winners so far and already four at stakes level, including Group scorers Romantic Time and Rocchigiani. He is about to begin another season in Newmarket from a fee of £15,000.

“He’s a young sire going places, by a top sire in Dubawi out of a well bred Dansili mare which we love," said Ross Doyle.

"It sounds like he’s got a serious book of mares lined up for this season on the back of his stats and the physicals of his foals and yearlings on show at the recent sales. The team at the National Stud continue to do a great job with him. We have bought it for a client who will support him with a very nice mare.”

The National Stud catalogued the same agreement for new arrival Lope Y Fernandez, the smart sprinting son of Lope De Vega, which Brook Stud's Dwayne Woods purchased for 24,000gns.

"I had the pleasure of seeing Lope Y Fernandez recently and thought he had let down into a lovely stallion," said Woods. "He is a great walker and lovely type and an exciting young stallion and Brook Stud are looking forward to supporting him."

Newsells Park also offered one right to its exciting new recruit and multiple Group winner A'Ali. This was bought by Aughamore Stud for 22,000gns.

Aughamore's Laurence Gleeson said: "We are thrilled to have acquired a breeding right in A’Ali. He is a beautiful horse with terrific presence and brings plenty of precocity, plus there will not be too many on this side of the Irish Sea."
