Without Parole receives fee increase as Newsells Park Stud announces 2026 roster

Newsells Park Stud has announced its stud fees for 2026 and Without Parole, the sire of Group 1-winning juvenile Zavateri, will receive a small increase to £10,000 (from £8,000).
Trained by Eve Johnson Houghton, Zavateri won the first four of his five starts this year in the July and Vintage Stakes and then the National Stakes, where he beat subsequent Breeders’ Cup Juvenile winner Gstaad in a thrilling finish at the Curragh.
Without Parole is also responsible for the Group 3-placed Fiery Lucy, as well as stakes performers Genchev and Sea To Sky from small numbers to date.
Newsells general manager Julian Dollar said: “Zavateri provided us with one of the great David and Goliath stories of the year, as he proved his talent, speed and incredible gutsiness time and time again. His wins as well as those of Group and stakes performers like Fiery Lucy, Genchev and Sea To Sky, from only 84 foals of racing age, demonstrate what this top-class miler son of Frankel offers breeders."
Proven top-class sire Nathaniel, responsible for the great Enable and Derby hero Desert Crown among nine top-level winners, will stand for a slightly reduced £17,500 (from £20,000).
Dollar added: “Nathaniel has established himself as one of Europe’s premier middle-distance sires with nine Group 1 winners and four Classic winners. He and Frankel are the only active sires to have produced the winners of the English, Irish and French Oaks, as well as the Derby. You have to be a pretty special stallion to sire horses of the calibre of Enable and Desert Crown and it's gratifying to see yearling buyers recognising that fact.

"His yearling sales average continues to rise, year on year. He is an appealing stallion for every breeder, confirmed at the highest level, a leading young broodmare sire, and with a yearling sales average of more than £100,000, and yet he stands at only £17,500."
The roster is rounded off by A'Ali, a multiple Group-winning son of Society Rock who has been represented with his first two-year-olds this year, and Isaac Shelby, a Group 2 winner as a juvenile and second in the Poule d'Essai des Poulains.
A'Ali, whose first crop contains the Group-placed Ali Shuffle, will remain at £5,000, while Isaac Shelby is also unchanged at £7,000.
“A'Ali is a cracking looking horse whose progeny have shown they are exactly what they say on the tin: fast and precocious," Dollar said. "A leading first-crop sire based in Britain, (by winners and winners to runners), his progeny made an immediate impact this spring, highlighted by multiple winner and Group performer, Ali Shuffle, but have proven they can train on with a multitude of recent winners. We're looking forward to seeing what his three-year-olds can do.
"As the only son of Night Of Thunder currently standing in Britain, Isaac Shelby is an incredibly exciting stallion prospect, and it was no surprise to see him well supported in his first season at stud.
"His looks and race record are remarkably similar to his sire. His Group 2 win as a two-year-old, his Guineas form at three and his conformation and temperament make a compelling case for breeders to use this son of Night Of Thunder, for a fraction of his sire’s fee."
