Derby hero Wings Of Eagles trimmed into €6,000 for second season
Young jumps sire No Risk At All set for an increase to €5,000
Leading French stud farm Haras de Montaigu has released its 2019 stallion fees, with Derby winner Wings Of Eagles topping the list at €6,000.
The son of Pour Moi, who was bred by Montaigu owners Gilles and Aliette Forien and sold to Coolmore for €220,000 at the Arqana August Yearling Sale, has had his fee trimmed from his 2018 price of €8,000.
His debut book contained the dams of seven stakes winners, four sisters to Group 1 winners as well as a further three siblings to Group winners.
Also having his fee clipped in is Prince Gibraltar, who will stand for €3,000 - down from €4,000 - in 2019. The first crop from the dual Group 1-winning son of Rock Of Gibraltar will turn two next year.
Also standing for €3,000 are Night Wish - who welcomed his first foals this year - and Literato, whose offspring have won 30 races in 2018.
Young National Hunt sire No Risk At All has had his fee nudged up to €5,000 ahead of the next breeding season.
The offspring of the son of My Risk have been in high demand in the sales rings of Europe, most notably at the Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale, where Aiden Murphy gave €200,000 for No Risk Des Flos earlier this year.
Montaigu's brilliant jumps stallion Martaline, whose covering season in 2018 was curtailed by a heart problem, does not appear on the stud's roster next year.
