The Watership Down Stud Too Darn Hot Greenham Stakes on Saturday has drawn a small but select field of six, including a dual Group 1-winning two-year-old in Perfect Power.

The Richard Fahey-trained colt has already done wonders for the reputation of the Goffs UK Breeze-Up Sale, in winning the Middle Park Stakes and Prix Morny last year, and not to forget he was a Royal Ascot-winning juvenile too in the Norfolk Stakes.

But he could take his own, and the sale's, reputation to timely new heights at Newbury this weekend as he bids to underline his Classic credentials.

With the race coming up, and the Doncaster breeze-up sale taking place next week - the breeze itself on Tuesday, a day of inspections on Wednesday and then the sale on Thursday - Goffs UK has produced a video, with footage of the star colt and interviews with Fahey and Richard Brown of Blandford Bloodstock.

It was Brown who signed for him at £110,000 in Doncaster last year, and he talks about his purchase, and that of his sire Ardad, while also detailing what he looks for in a breeze-up prospect and his fondness for the Goffs UK two-year-old auction.

Fahey, meanwhile, reflects on the colt's fantastic juvenile season and looks at what 2022 might have in store.
