Kirsten Rausing was announced as the winner of the prestigious Andrew Devonshire Award at the Thoroughbred Breeders' Association annual awards ceremony on Tuesday evening.

The TBA board selected Rausing as recipient of the prize to honour her long–term commitment to the thoroughbred breeding industry.

TBA chairman Julian Richmond-Watson said: "The presentation of the Andrew Devonshire Award is recognition of Kirsten's long–term dedication to the British thoroughbred breeding industry.
