Tomas Janda joins Tattersalls as overseas rep for central and eastern Europe

Tattersalls have appointed Czech Republic-based bloodstock agent Tomas Janda as an overseas representative for the central and eastern European area.

Janda, whose role will take effect from June 1, already has a strong relationship with Tattersalls where he purchased this year’s Czech 2,000 Guineas winner Ignacius Reily at the Tattersalls December Foal Sale for 3,000gns.

Commenting on his appointment, Janda said: “Horses purchased at Tattersalls have had an enormous impact on racing and breeding in the Czech Republic and central and eastern Europe.

"I look forward to working with the entire Tattersalls group to attract buyers to their sales.”
