Tina Rau appointed as international nominations representative for Aga Khan Studs

Bloodstock agent Tina Rau has joined the Aga Khan Studs in a newly-created role as international nominations representative. The job will involve strengthening the team’s presence at the major European sales and Rau will work alongside Julie White and Fanny Cypres, who oversee nominations and client relations for the Irish and French stallion rosters respectively.

Rau is a graduate of both the Irish National Stud and the Godolphin Flying Start programmes and founded her own agency in 2009. She is also the German representative for Tattersalls and will continue that role was well as her own work as a bloodstock agent alongside her new responsibilities.

She said: "I am delighted and honoured to be joining the Aga Khan Studs, particularly at a time when their stallion roster is at its strongest ever. I look forward to supporting breeders in their stallion selections and to working closely with the existing team to promote these outstanding horses at the European sales."

The Aga Khan Studs recently announced the 2026 fees for its five stallions based across France and Ireland, with Sea The Stars leading the way at a career-high fee of €300,000.
