TBA stud staff photo competition returns for a second year
The deadline for entries is Thursday, July 11
The stud staff photography organised by Thoroughbred Breeders' Association competition is set to return and will take place during Racing Staff Week.
The competition, now in its second year, will offer more valuable prizes with category winners receiving £350, a £100 increase, and runners-up issued with a £150 cash prize, previously £100. Winners will also have their work exhibited at the TBA Flat awards evening on Tuesday, July 16.
This year's competition sees the return of the best individual photo and best #MyOffice photo categories, which will give stud staff the opportunity to showcase what they enjoy most about their work. Rules have also been amended to allow individuals to submit up to four images for the competition.
Claire Sheppard, TBA chief executive, said: "We're pleased to continue our support for Racing Staff Week with the return of the photography competition for stud staff. Last year we received some great photos from studs across the country and we hope that this year will see even more submissions to the competition.
"We hope that the competition will increase awareness of the vital roles of the people and teams within our industry in producing and preparing horses for racing and their care of breeding stock."
The competition opens on Saturday, June 29 and the deadline for entries is 23.59pm (BST) Thursday, July 11. For more information on the competition, terms and conditions and how to enter visit .
