Tattersalls Cheltenham December Sale moved to Newmarket from Fairyhouse
The auction will still take place on Thursday, December 17
The second part of the Tattersalls Cheltenham December Sale has been moved from Fairyhouse to Park Paddocks in Newmarket due to the changing regulations on movement of people relating to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Still to be held on its original date of Thursday, December 17, the auction will take place in Newmarket owing to Irish participants now being able to return home with greater ease ahead of the festive period.
Positive feedback from vendors and purchasers regarding the decision to hold the December 3 Cheltenham Sale at Park Paddocks also contributed to the decision to switch the December 17 date to the same venue.
Recent notable graduates from the sale include this year's Supreme Novices' Hurdle victor Shishkin, the unbeaten newcomer Sir Gerhard and Supreme Novices' Hurdle third Chantry House.
All lots will be sold with pre-sale veterinary certificates and horses will be available to view on December 16.
