Quartet of top-level winners and Chaldean's dam headlines Tattersalls December Mares Sale entries

Group 1-winning quartet Porta Fortuna, Tamfana, Barnavara and Choisya headline an outstanding catalogue for the Tattersalls December Mares Sale. 

Porta Fortuna, a four-time Group 1 winner, is the first Cartier Champion Three-Year-Old Filly ever to be offered for sale as a filly in/out of training, and she will be joined by Sun Chariot Stakes heroine Tamfana, recent Prix de l'Opera victress Barnavara and 2025 American Grade 1 scorer Choisya.

Other star performers include Prix de Diane runner-up Survie, Group 2 winner and Group 1-placed Tiffany and Group-winning three-year-olds Atsila, who was also third in the Matron Stakes, and Group 2 runner-up Saqqara Sands. They will be joined by the promising Atalanta Stakes winner and Sun Chariot Stakes fourth Lady Of Spain, high-class sprinter Rage Of Bamby, and the Irish Oaks-placed Purple Lily. Group 2-winning sprinter Azure Blue and Pride Stakes winner Lady Boba will both be offered in foal to champion sire elect Night Of Thunder.

The Sceptre Sessions will showcase elite broodmares such as Suelita, the dam of 2,000 Guineas and Dewhurst hero Chaldean, who will be offered again in foal to Frankel. Others include Way To My Heart, the dam of dual Group 1-winning two-year-old filly Precise, who will come under the hammer in foal to Wootton Bassett, as well as Moment Of Truth, the dam of Grade 1 scorer Excellent Truth. 

Also among the leading broodmares offered are Visions, the dam of Phoenix Stakes winner Power Blue, and Liberisque, the dam of Flying Five Stakes hero Arizona Blaze, as well as Onshore, the dam of Grand Prix de Paris winner Onesto, and Unaided, the dam of Breeders’ Cup Mile winner Uni, offered in foal to City Of Troy.

Beautifully bred individuals to be sold include Magic Ring, a Dubawi sister to Henry Longfellow out of Minding, Mariinsky Theatre, by Dubawi out of Irish Oaks winner Athena, and Mayfair, a Justify daughter of Clemmie, both offered in foal to Wootton Bassett. They will be joined by Chere Darmoiselle, a half-sister to Too Darn Hot out of Dar Re Mi, offered in foal to Zarak, and Caliyza, a half-sister to Champion Stakes winner Calandagan offered in foal to his sire Gleneagles.

Juddmonte's highly anticipated draft includes Clerisy, a half-sister to Expert Eye, in foal to Havana Grey and Star Magnolia, a half-sister to Group 1 winner Babouche, and Group producer Zatsfine, a half-sister to Group/Grade 1 winners Proviso and Byword, both offered in foal to Frankel. The offerings also includeListed performers Arolla, by Kingman out of a Frankel half-sister to Special Duty, and Revoke, by Blue Point and out of a sister to multiple Group winner Famous Name. 

Godolphin's team includes Group 3 winner Laugh Aloud, a half-sister to Group 1 winner Debussy, Oaks third Lady Of Dubai offered in foal to Baaeed, and Listed winner Lunar Maria, a granddaughter of Miesque who will be offered in foal to Pinatubo.
