Prices and paranoia on the rise as the bloodstock Terminator returns to Tattersalls Ireland

Try as any sales correspondent might, no-one can attend every public auction throughout a calendar year. Breeding stock, breeze-ups, foals, horses-in-training, point-to-pointers, stores, yearlings. There are simply too many. And believe me, I’ve tried. 

For one reason or another, the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale is one of the few that has tended not to make it on to my annual schedule. It’s nothing personal. It’s just in a saturated sales calendar, you have to pick your battles.
