Prolific homebred Dora Penny taking her place in Wolves folklore

Dora Penny is already a treasured member of the Shropshire Wolves family, with the homebred looking as if her winning run could be extended after making it four in a row in sprint handicaps this summer.

Jon Babb, the man behind the syndicate, has a poser for racing fans and data divers as he even wonders if her achievement is unprecedented, with the three-year-old Mayson filly now replicating the feats of her dam, Aubrietia.

"I don’t know whether there’s been a situation where you’ve had a mare and the daughter of that mare both doing four-timers," says Babb.
