Ticker Tape
Betmgm Supports Safer Gambling Fillies' Restricted Novice Stakes (6.00, Wolverhampton, Tuesday)
What's the story?
The latest progeny out of Anthony Oppenheimer's wonderful broodmare Crimson Ribbon takes to the track on Tuesday. Owned by Oppenheimer in partnership with his daughter Sophie, the Time Test filly boasts a top-class pedigree which has been nurtured over many years by Hascombe and Valiant Stud.
How is she bred?
The three-year-old is by the now Turkey-based Time Test, but she has a distaff pedigree which makes her a valuable long-term prospect. She is out of the winning Lemon Drop Kid mare Crimson Ribbon, a sister to Hardwicke and Jockey Club Stakes winner Bronze Cannon, as well as a half-sister to King Edward VII Stakes victor Across The Stars. Another of her half-siblings is American Grade 3 winner Valiant Girl, the dam of this year's Listed Jumeirah 2,000 Guineas winner Title Role.
Ticker Tape is in turn a half-sister to Courage Mon Ami, a winner of the 2023 Gold Cup at Ascot for Wathnan Racing, as well as Listed winners Lion's Pride, Danielle, Crimson Rosette and Astronomos.

Who does she face?
Her three rivals include the winning Lizzana, a Saxon Warrior half-sister to the Listed-placed Das Rote. The Marco Botti-trained filly has run twice, with her most recent effort coming when comfortably landing a Kempton restricted novice in October.
The unraced Sayidah Aleen is an interesting contender on pedigree, being a half-sister to black-type winners or performers including Dusky Queen. There is plenty of talent in the family as her dam is a half-sister to Sweet Solera Stakes scorer and Moyglare Stud Stakes fourth Albabilia.
Ammoony, a twice-raced daughter of Zarak, cannot be discounted either. She was fifth to 1,000 Guineas entries Touleen and Zanthos on debut at Leicester last September and that form was franked when Zanthos captured the Rockfel Stakes. Ammoony finished her juvenile campaign with a close-up fourth at the same track - and over a mile - just under a month later.
