No Risk At All looked a safe bet to excel at stud and is doing just that
There has always been a buzz around the sire of Sandown hero Esprit Du Large
Timing is everything in this business and for Haras de Montaigu there will be some solace in the consolidation of No Risk At All’s place as a leading young jumps sire just weeks after the death of their stalwart Martaline.
Although still only 12 years old, No Risk At All has been a buzz name within the French jumps community for some time now. Such a notion was swift to be validated, particularly when Epatante, a member of his first crop, landed the 2017 Grade 1 Prix Jacques de Vienne at Saint-Cloud just three months into her first season as a three-year-old.
Since then, a swathe of burgeoning talent by the sire has been imported to run in Britain and Ireland, notably Epatante herself and Allaho, both of whom have acquitted themselves well on the major stage.
