Nine additions to Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up led by exciting colt by Awtaad
Last-year's sale-topping consignor Tally-Ho add four juveniles to the mix
Nine wildcards have been added to the Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up Sale, which takes place alongside the Ascot Breeze-Up Sale in Newmarket on Thursday, June 25, starting at 12pm.
The additions include an exciting colt consigned by Meadowview Stables from the debut crop of Awtaad out of the Listed winner Patience Alexander (Lot 153) from the exceptional Mountarmstrong family of Anthem Alexander and Dandy Man.
Derrinstown Stud's Awtaad had a first winner with his very first runner, Live Stream, on Friday.
Last year’s sale-topping consigner Tally-Ho Stud will offer four additional two-year-olds including colts by Kodiac (Lot 146) and Pearl Secret (Lot 150) from the families of 1,000 Guineas winner Sleepytime and Oaks winner Kazzia respectively.
Tally-Ho Stud will also present a filly by Kodiac (Lot 148) out of a half-sister to Group 1 Prix de l’Abbaye winner Maarek and a filly from the first crop of exciting sire Shalaa out of the Listed-placed I’m So Glad (Lot 154).
Star Bloodstock are set to consign a filly by Acclamation (Lot 147) out of a half-sister to the Group 1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches-placed East, who was herself a record-breaking breeze-up graduate. Greenhills Farm, who consigned East, will also offer a beautifully bred colt by Siyouni (Lot 151) from the family of the outstanding German Champion Lando.
The perennial leading breeze-up consignors Mocklershill will present a Hard Spun filly (Lot 152) out of the multiple Graded stakes-placed Lemonette from a deep American family.
The Wildcards are completed by a colt by Brazen Beau out of the Group 2-placed Jadanna (Lot 149) consigned by C.A.J. Stables, a half-brother to the Listed winning Darkanna and the Group 3 runner-up Kodyanna.
The breeze is due to take place on Newmarket’s Rowley Mile on Monday, June 22 at 9am. Catalogues are online at www.tattersalls.com and available from Tattersalls and Tattersalls representatives.
