Morpheus, a half-brother to Frankel, has been transferred from Tally-Ho Stud in County Westmeath to Haras du Grand Chesnaie in France for the 2019 season.

The three-time winning son of Oasis Dream will stand at his new home alongside Ballingarry, Full Of Gold and The Anvil.

Morpheus has supplied six winners among his first crop of two-year-olds this year including James Watt, who scored twice and finished fourth in the Listed Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar.

The deal was brokered by Sean Tiernan of Peak Racehorses, for Tally-Ho and Bernard Stoffel of Blue Spirit Bloodstock, acting for Grand Chesnaie.

"I was introduced to Morpheus by Alan Delany of Corbal-Lis Stud and liked him a lot, so things progressed from there," said Tiernan, who also recently brokered the deal on behalf of Coolmore Stud for Magician to move to Haras de Corlay for the 2019 breeding season.

Tiernan's links with France received a boost recently with the victory of Saint Calvados in the Grade 3 Poplar Square Chase at Naas, a horse that he sourced there for Kate and Andrew Brooks, whose racing interests he manages.
