Ryan Moore is a notable participant in the action at Leopardstown’s first Flat meeting of the new year on Wednesday and the rider will have the chance to test out a full sister to one of the most notable fillies of his career to date.

Minding provided Moore with a 1,000 Guineas-Oaks double three years ago, two of six Group 1s the pair were to combine for, and there might very well have been others to come only for her to be retired in 2017 due to an injury after her successful reappearance in the Mooresbridge Stakes.

Unsurprisingly for a product of the Coolmore affiliated Orpendale, Chelston and Wynatt operation, Minding had the perfect head start to become a champion racehorse with her glittering pedigree. Her sire is the incomparable Galileo and her dam is the Danehill Dancer mare Lillie Langtry, who was Group 1 placed at two and trained by Aidan O'Brien to land the Coronation and Matron Stakes at three.

It would be asking a lot for any of Minding's siblings to come within touching distance of her, so opportunity knocks for unraced three-year-old Heaven On Earth in the opening event, the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden (3.30). She owns no Guineas entry, starting off here over a mile and a quarter, but does hold an engagement in the Irish Oaks further down the line.

Lining up against her will be two more Galileos from the same yard. At Last is a half-sister to the rapid Australian stallion Zoustar, who must step up from an ordinary racecourse bow at Cork, while newcomer Invitation is from the immediate family of King George and multiple Group 1 hero Novellist.

Lillie Langtry has only produced fillies so far with six on the ground, including a yearling, all by Galileo. Her first foal, Kissed By Angels, won the Leopardstown Guineas Trial but neither of the two behind Minding, How and Conquest, were able to muster a victory between them. Minding herself was sent to Japan last year for a meeting with its totemic stallion Deep Impact.

At an important time for Ballydoyle to get experience into the team, Moore has four rides on the Dublin track's student raceday card. They include War Front three-year-old Magic Fountain, the first foal of 2014 Irish Oaks scorer Bracelet, in theJJ Kavanagh & Sons Fillies Maiden (5.30).
