Aga Khan homebred purchased at Arqana
Dual Group 3 winner Karaktar will stand at Haras de Cercy from next season after being purchased by Winning Bloodstock Agency for €110,000 at the Arqana Summer Sale.
Offered by his owner–breeder the Aga Khan, Karaktar is a half–brother to three winners including the Grade 1 Finale Juvenile Hurdle runner–up Karezak and 1m2f winner and Listed Nijinsky Stakes–placed Karatash.
Out of the 1m-1m2f victress Karawana, a daughter of King’s Best, the four–year–old colt hails from the family of Group 2 Doncaster Cup winner Kasthari and Group 3 scorers Karasta and Kargali.
