Juddmonte unveil fee for newcomer Lead Artist as Frankel leads the way at £350,000

Juddmonte have announced their 2026 fees for the six-strong Banstead Manor Stud roster, headed by the phenomenal Frankel at an unchanged £350,000.
The dual world champion has added a further 24 individual stakes winners to his record in 2025, 13 of them at Group level, while he has now sired 40 individual Group 1 winners.
He stands in Newmarket as the most successful active sire of northern hemisphere Classic winners, with 12 to his name. They include this year's Irish 1,000 Guineas heroine Lake Victoria and dual Oaks winner Minnie Hauk.
Frankel's success also continued in the sales ring, where he topped the Tattersalls October Book 1 sires by both aggregate and average for the third year in a row.
The newcomer to the roster is Lead Artist, a grandson of Frankel, being out of Group 2 Prix de Sandringham winner Obligate.
The son of Dubawi captured the Lockinge Stakes this year, defeating four Group 1 winners including Guineas scorers Rosallion, Notable Speech and Fallen Angel, while he also won the Group 3 Thoroughbred Stakes and Group 3 Darley Stakes at three in 2024.
Hailing from the stallion-making family of Hasili and Dansili, Lead Artist has been introduced to breeders at £12,500.
Simon Mockridge, general manager of Juddmonte UK, said: "Lead Artist represents a fantastic opportunity to further strengthen our stallion roster.
"He combines pedigree and performance with an outstanding physical, possessing great balance, strength and movement, all attributes which will appeal to the commercial breeder."

Kingman sits behind Frankel at an unchanged fee of £125,000.
His year has been topped by the brilliant Field Of Gold, winner of the Irish 2,000 Guineas and St James's Palace Stakes, while Kingman's overall tally came to 20 individual stakes winners in 2025.
Kingman became the second-fastest stallion to reach 100 individual northern hemisphere-bred stakes winners, behind only Frankel, and ahead of Deep Impact, Dubawi and Galileo.
Frankel's 2,000 Guineas and Dewhurst-winning son Chaldean will stand at £20,000 (down from £25,000).
He had 323 mares in his first two books, covering more Group winners, stakes winners and black-type performers than any other first-season sire in Britain or Ireland in his debut year, and maintained that momentum in 2025 with a book featuring 14 Group winners, 28 stakes winners and 52 black-type performers.
Stalwart Oasis Dream will stand for an unchanged £15,000. The son of Green Desert completed his 22nd stud season this year, and with an impressive 82 per cent fertility rate.
He is one of the most successful active stallions in Britain and has sired 18 individual Group 1 winners and 72 Group scorers, adding four new Group winners in 2025. Oasis Dream's daughters have produced more than 230 black-type performers, including 74 Group winners and 17 Group 1 winners.
Completing the roster is Bated Breath, who will stand for £5,000 (down from £8,000 this year).
The son of Dansili has sired nine stakes performers this year, headed by Group 2 Richmond Stakes and Group 1-placed Coppull. He is operating at a 62 per cent winners to runners strike-rate and nine per cent black-type horses to runners.
