American Cleopatra, the sister to 2015's Triple Crown hero American Pharoah, got her career off to the perfect start with a dazzling success at Del Mar on Sunday.

Trained by Bob Baffert, who masterminded her elder brother's career, and ridden by Stewart Elliott, the filly broke quickly and was up with the pace throughout.

Entering the home straight the juvenile was cruising before pulling clear to win by two lengths.
